One Island Square L.L.C. sold Island Square, located at 2758 78th Avenue SE in Mercer Island, Wash., to United Dominion Realty L.P. The 235-unit apartment community was sold for an undisclosed amount. Island Square is a recently completed community featuring 235 units and 40,000 square feet of office and retail. Amenities include a full-service spa, residents club, business center, theater and game rooms, and a tea house. Island Square was awarded the 2007 Gold Nugget Grand Award for Best Mid-to-High Rise Apartment Project – Over Four Stories and Best Re-Use of Land at the 2006 Multifamily Executive Awards competition. Hendricks & Partners Seattle office represented both the buyer and the seller in the transaction.
