Microsoft to Pre-Lease 571,800SF Office Building in Bellevue

Software giant Microsoft has committed to leasing City Center Plaza, a 571,800-square-foot office building currently being developed in Bellevue by Wright Runstad & Co. and Beacon Capital Partners, the Seattle Times reports. Microsoft will be the sole occupant of the 26-story tower, which will also feature approximately 21,500 square feet of retail space. Broderick Group had been marketing space at the property, scheduled for delivery this year, for $30 to $36 per-square-foot.

OliverMcMillan to Turn Former Everett Landfill into Mixed-Use Development
OliverMcMillan, a privately held San Diego–based developer, has purchased a mostly vacant 140-acre site from the City of Everett, Wash., for redevelopment as a mixed-use project. The price for the land alone was $8 million, according to a spokesperson for the city. Pre-development costs are estimated at $50 million, and an additional $400 million in development costs is projected.
