An expansion in Oregon's commercial vineyards is popping the cork for Oregon Wine Services and Storage. The firm is expanding its temperature-controlled space to the tune of $3.5 million, adding 60,000 square feet of storage space to its existing 110,000 square feet at its McMinnville facility.

Pre-poured concrete walls for the addition started going up on Monday, which means the facility is slated for completion by fall harvest. The amount of commercial wineries in Oregon's wine country has expanded from 200 five years ago to more than 350 today, according to The Oregonian.
