ULI's Orange County District Council Appoints Mayer as Chair

Jeff Mayer, principal at McLarand, Vasquez, Emsiek & Partners, has been appointed as chair of the Urban Land Institute’s Orange County District Council. As chair, Mayer will work with the district council leadership team to further the progress of the ULI’s presence in the community. He plans to collaborate with the ULI Western Region office, ULI Los Angeles, ULI Inland Empire, and ULI San Diego to promote dialogue on critical issues facing the region. Mayer’s design projects include the NIKKEN World Headquarters in Irvine, Calif., Olympic Spirit Visitors Center in Toronto, Costa Isabela Resort in Herraduras, Puerto Rico and Theme Park Master Planning and Attraction Development for Paramount Studios in Tianjin, China.     Mayer led the planning and design of the Ritter Ranch Visitors Center in Palmdale, Calif., for which he received a Best Community Development Award in 2007 from AIA San Fernando Valley.
