Tesco Plans Revamp of Troubled Fresh & Easy Markets
May 12, 2008
Source: Orange County Register

Tesco is expected to make an announcement regarding changes to its new -- and, according to some, troubled -- Fresh & Easy Markets, which marked the British retailer's U.S. expansion. According to the Orange County Register, those changes could include more British products as well as increased food variety.

In addition, better, more interesting signage is expected. The Register reported that many consumers complained that Fresh & Easy is dull, with some likening it to a government surplus store. There have been 61 Fresh & Easy Markets opened in California, Arizona, and Nevada since November, with six stores in Orange County and another four stores planned for the area.
