JCPenney Expands Houston Presence with 2 New Stores
Oct 6, 2008

J.C. Penney Co. Inc. is swinging open the doors of two new locations in the Houston area, increasing its portfolio of new department stores in the market over the last three years to nine. The company will have a 104,000-square-foot location in Conroe at Teas Crossing, a 500,000-square-foot power center. The second JCPenney will occupy 105,000 square feet of space at the 400,000-square-foot Victory Lakes Town Center in League City. Undeterred by the ailing economy, the retailer is kicking October off with a bang, as the Houston-area stores are just two of 12 that are opening on the same day.
