Whole Foods Market will build a store as part of a new 13-acre development between downtown Houston and the city's River Oaks area, according to the Houston Chronicle. The Austin, Tex.-based grocer said Tuesday that it will lease a site at the northeast corner of West Dallas and Waugh.
The market will be located adjacent to a planned 445-unit apartment complex to be built by the Finger Cos., which also leased Whole Foods its future space. The site may also include additional retail space and a high-rise residential tower in the future.
