Nemours Unveils Children's Hospital Master Site Plan

Nemours unveiled the Nemours Children’s Hospital master site plan for its health care campus that will be located in the Lake Nona medical city. Nemours also has formed a team to design the hospital and guide the remaining process to create the Nemours model of care. The design team includes a group of more than 150 internal and external health care business experts, clinicians, architects and individuals that are collaborating to provide critical insight into pediatric care delivery for the new health system. Jeffrey Green, Nemours vice president and chief administrative officer, serves as the design team’s project executive. He is responsible for overseeing and providing strategic direction for Nemours Children’s Hospital. The facility design team is a partnership of Perkins+Will and Stanley Beaman & Sears. Nemours chose Skanska USA Building Inc. as the construction manager that will oversee the construction process of the project.
