Grubb & Ellis Adds Kilborn as SVP, Office Group

David Kilborn, Jr. has joined Grubb & Ellis Co. as senior vice president, office group. Most recently, he was with Carter Real Estate, where he served as senior vice president of office properties group. During his 17-year tenure at the firm, Kilbor was involved in transactions totaling more than four million square feet and worked with some of Atlanta’s top corporations and organizations, including the Ford & Harrison L.L.P., Knoll Inc., Kennesaw State University and Acuity Brands. Prior to joining Carter, Kilborn served as vice president, office properties with Royal LePage Commercial Real Estate.

Urdang, a unit of BNY Mellon Asset Management, has announced the $48 million sale of two business centers in suburban Atlanta to CCI-B Marietta L.L.C., a partnership formed by Capital Commercial Investments Inc. The properties total nearly 14 buildings on 48 acres and comprise 620,000 square feet of office, medical, retail and warehouse space.

Duke Realty Corp. has leased a nearly 98,000-square-foot office building at Camp Creek Business Center, located three miles west of Hartsfield Jackson International Airport in Atlanta, to the Federal Aviation Administration.
