Goldstein Group Wins Levitz Assignments

Chuck Lanyard, president of The Goldstein Group, the New Jersey retail brokerage firm, has reported that the company has been selected to handle two former Levitz Furniture spaces in Paramus and East Brunswick, N.J. Both properties are on major highways and can be divided into smaller units. The 115,000-square-foot Paramus space is at 545 Route 17. The free-standing, 50,000-square-foot East Brunswick building, at 651 Route 18, is available for sale or lease. Curtis Nassau and Florian Suserman of The Goldstein Group are handling this assignment.

Office leasing activity is down 43 percent from the first quarter. The central New Jersey office market is broadly similar. On the industrial side, the bad news is jobs and the good news is high-tech space and the Port Region.
