Two D.C.-Area Buildings Leased Up
May 5, 2008

Washington Property Co. has leased up at two of its commercial office buildings--4 Research Place and Patriot East. Lockheed Martin put 4 Research Place in Maryland over the top with a lease expansion bringing that company’s total square footage to 39,000. Bernie McCarthy of Jones Lang LaSalle Inc. represented Lockheed Martin, and Marc Witowski at Washington Property represented the landlord. At Patriot East in Greenbelt, Md., JMAT Systems L.L.C.'s lease brought the building to full occupancy. Bill Ompofo of Avalar Realty represented the tenant and Brent Prossner of Edge Commercial L.L.C. joined Witowski in representing Washington Property. Patriot East, and its twin, Patriot West (both are four-story office buildings of 85,000 square feet each) comprise Patriot Business Park.
