Lauth to Hold Groundbreaking at Key Logistics Park

Lauth will break ground on Thursday, on the first building at Key Logistics Park, a 1.17 million-square-foot, cross-dock distribution facility located in in Cumberland County, Penn., the company said today. Building One will feature 1,170,000 square feet of distribution space, over 120 dock doors, and space to park up to 400 trailers. Lauth expects the building to be ready for occupancy in May 2009. Lauth's master plan for Key Logistics Park includes two additional cross-dock buildings.  Building Two will be a 909,000-square-foot facility. Building Three will be a 954,000-square-footF structure. Construction on those buildings will begin based on market activity or on a build-to-suit basis. CB Richard Ellis Inc. will provide leasing services for Key Logistics Park.

The Yards New Pavilion Heralds $1.7B Mixed-Use Project in D.C.
Construction of The Yards, a 5.5 million-square-foot redevelopment endeavor in southeast Washington, D.C., by Forest City Washington, is in the works, and the company has just opened The Yards Pavilion (pictured) to give a peak at what is to come when the first phase of the project delivers late next year. An outdoor marketing gallery, The Yards Pavilion features exhibit panels and kiosks detailing the multi-faceted $1.7 billion project, the first structure of which will debut late next year as the 170-unit Foundry Lofts apartment building.
