Senior Housing Properties Prices 5.6M Share Offering

Senior Housing Properties Trust has announced that it has priced a public offering of 5.6 million common shares at $21.85 per share. The sale is expected to finish on Tuesday, Feb. 26. Plans are to use the proceeds to repay its revolving credit facility, and for general business purposes, including pending or future acquisitions of properties. The joint book-running managers are UBS Investment Bank, Merrill Lynch & Co. and Morgan Stanley & Co. The lead manager of this offering is RBC Capital Markets. The co-managing underwriters for this offering are Robert W. Baird & Co., Ferris, Baker Watts Inc., Janney Montgomery Scott L.L.C., Morgan Keegan & Co., Oppenheimer & Co., Raymond James, and Stifel Nicolaus.
