Developer Westrust has filled up all 10 anchor spots at The Plant, its $142 million, 646,000-square-foot regional shopping center in San Jose. With 500,000 square feet of anchor space and 141,000 square feet of specialty retail and dining offerings, The Plant is the largest power center ever to open its doors in the city. Among the newest tenants is a 64,000-square-foot Toys "R" Us store, marking the debut of the chain's superstore concept in Northern California. A new Babies "R" Us shop will also be part of the space.
