ProLogis Completes First Lease Transaction in Rome

ProLogis has announced that it has leased 327,000 square feet of distribution space in Rome, Italy, to Coop Italia, a major Italian supermarket chain. The customer has leased 100 percent of a recently completed distribution facility at ProLogis Park Anagni, where it plans to serve its network of retail grocery outlets throughout the greater Rome metro area. The warehouse, which is ProLogis' first in Rome, was developed using sustainable construction principles and a number of energy-efficient and environmentally friendly technologies.
